Where to Watch the 2017 Super Bowl in Guangzhou

It’s that time of year again. Football (the American kind) will be celebrated in its top form at NFL Super Bowl 51 on February 6 in China. 

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots will face off against Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons in a fierce competition complete with everything great about the Super Bowl – sexy advertisements, free-flow beer and notable halftime performances. 

This year, Lady Gaga will be performing for the tens of millions of people who tune in to watch football's most celebrated event. Here’s our rundown of the best spots in Guangzhou to enjoy the most popular sport in America, live from Houston, Texas, during our own 'Super Bowl Monday.' 

The Brew Bar & Bistro

Enjoy Super Bowl 51 at one of The Brew’s three Guangzhou locations! Entry costs RMB75 and includes a guaranteed seat and breakfast, while pints of Tiger beer and Caesar cocktails will be sold for RMB30. Doors open at 7am and attendees can expect square betting games at all three bars, whilst Tianhe football fanatics can test their knowledge with football trivia during and after the game at The Brew Zhujiang.

Hooley’s Irish Pub

Enjoy a buffet breakfast at Hooley’s while watching America’s biggest sporting event of the year! Coffee will be poured at RMB25 per cup and bloody marys and Tiger beer will be sold for RMB30. Reservation is required, pick up tickets at the venue from January 25.

Don’t miss McCawley’s tailgate party on February 6! Watch Super Bowl 51 while enjoying food specials, including an American breakfast or breakfast burger for RMB60 and a dozen chicken wings for RMB65, and drink specials (RMB18 bottles of Bud anyone?).
